Mainly littoral but has been reported to occur as deep as 90 m. Fishes seen lying motionless on the bottom most of the time. Major food item: amphipods. Also important food are isopods and polychaetes (Ref. 5191). Feed on small crustaceans and common in littoral of all sub-Antarctic islands (Ref. 42041).
主要海濱但是已經被報告出現深達 90 公尺。 見到在底部上躺著不動大部分的時間的魚。 主要的食物: 片腳類動物。 也重要的食物是等足目動物與多毛類動物。 (參考文獻 5191) 捕食小型甲殼動物與常見於接近南極的島嶼之沿海地區。 (參考文獻 42041)
