Comments: Fecundity was studied in specimens 139-205 mm standard length; ovaries of a female with an average weight of 60 g contained 13.690 eggs which corresponds to 228.200 eggs per kilogram of fish; oocytes are rather small (about 0,66 mm in diameter) and only one mode is present which indicates that there is only one reproduction each year (Ref. 43912).
